Baroque by excess

The meeting between a wedding dress from the Atelier and a castle listed as a historic monument: elegance rhymes with excess.
Elegance and refinement
Nestled in the heart of a green setting, the Château de Dangu lends itself to a timeless setting . This extraordinary place, steeped in a thousand-year-old history, perfectly embodies excess. In 1896, Duke Pozzo di Borgo had this castle moved, stone by stone, from Saint-Cloud (92) to Dangu (27): it was the largest private construction site of the time. Listed as a historic monument, this building offers a setting worthy of a bride's most beautiful dreams.
The trend is outdated
Under the soft light passing through the high windows, a silhouette appears, slender and majestic. Dressed in a sumptuous princess wedding dress, she embodies French elegance. She almost makes one forget the Hercules salon, richly decorated: marquetry, polychrome marbles, Corinthian capitals… The delicately laced bodice delicately hugs the silhouette, while the tulle petticoats blossom in a play of airy volumes. Each movement reveals the lightness of the fabric, enhanced by refined details: openwork lace, hand-sewn pearls and silky reflections of satin.
Tailor-made haute couture
The bride continues her stroll toward the Pompadour salon. The sculpted moldings, paintings, grisailles, and marquetry parquet flooring recall the splendor of grand French homes. Like the wedding dress, a 100% hand-sewn creation, everything here evokes nobility and refinement. The bride moves gracefully, her gaze lost between past and present, as if this place had been designed for her.
The grand finale
The old parquet floor creaks beneath her feet, bearing witness to past and future love stories. Each image tells of a promise, a suspended moment where the dress becomes much more than a garment: a declaration, an emotion.
